The most abundant and heaviest metal in the world is uranium. Interesting information about this metal was provided on the wall of newly renovated room by Badrakh Energy at MUST. The refurbishment work is part of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between MUST and Badrakh Energy in 2023, and the company submitted the refurbished classroom on December 4, 2024. During the opening day, MUST’s principal T.Namnan shared “I’m happy that a contribution is being made to prepare a knowledgeable and skilled engineers who are future of Mongolia.”
Badrakh Energy, the company which is developing a new mining industry, continues it’s cooperation with the MUST, aiming to train the new generation of specialists in geology, mining, chemical and nuclear technologies. Offering the students valuable hands-on experience through internships and joint projects, organization of ISR technology seminars, involvement of teachers and professors in trainings from internationally renowned experts – are part of actions that are planned jointly within the frames of the MoU.
“Our participation in renovating this classroom reflects our commitment to education and development of future professionals in the uranium mining industry”, said the executive director of Badrakh Energy Marc Meleard at the opening ceremony.
Badrakh Energy LLC developing of a new mining industry in Mongolia, has planned to create 1,600 jobs when the main mining operation begins in 2028. About 800 of them will be permanent employees of the company.
