"Tavantolgoi" JSC Presented Its Activity Report for the First Half of 2024

Progress Report on the Action Plan:

According to the 2024 business plan, "Tavantolgoi" JSC planned to extract 7.5 million tons of coal, export 6.9 million tons, and sell 580 thousand tons of coal domestically. As of the first half of 2024, soil stripping increased by 11.86 million m³, or 112.2%, coal production by 2.33 million tons, or 237.7%, and overburden removal increased by 13.98 million m³, or 129.9% compared to the same period of the last year.

Within the framework of the Law on Mining Exchange, we conducted our activities on an open and transparent basis, resulting in the sale of 1.11 million tons of coal, with 0.99 million tons exported and 0.12 million tons sold domestically—an increase of 1011.5% compared to last year.

Income and Profit:

During the reporting period, total sales revenue was 518.5 billion MNT, a 13.3-fold increase compared to the same period last year. As of the first half of 2024, net profit was 213.2 billion MNT, an increase of 16.1 times from the same period of the previous year.
